2. Projects/Projektek:

• Harmonization of ANA nomenclature corresponding to the International Consensus of ANA patterns (ICAP)
  The Hungarian version of the description of ANA patterns, clinical relevance, first and second level information is already available online (www.ANApatterns.org).
• Assessment of autoantibody testing in Hungarian laboratories
  A national survey on ANA, anti-dsDNA, anti-ENA and ANCA testing was performed in 2018.
• Formulation of national guidelines for testing ANA, anti-dsDNA, anti-ENA and ANCA autoantibodies
• Harmonization of reporting ANA, anti-ENA and anti-dsDNA autoantibody test results
• Publication of guidelines in local scientific papers

Future projects:

• Preparation for the upcoming accreditation
• Establishment of a common serum bank to be used for different studies, validation of new tests and/or as external controls (setting rules for sample collection and handling, data recording)
• Operating a professional website for presentation and discussion of interesting or unresolved cases
